Our slats are of double skin foam filled solid aluminium for added insulation and sound deadening and come as standard in White but are also available as optional Brown, Cream, Cedar Woodgrain, Light Grey 02, Light Grey 39, Anthracite Grey, Light Beige, Metallic Grey and Alu Metallic.
These coil to a small box size but gives strength through its construction. The bottom slat is extruded aluminium with rubber seal. The shutter box has die cast aluminium end plates with two piece roll formed aluminium casing. The Guide Rail is made from extruded aluminium with a box section for fixing/reinforcement and high density 5mm pile brush seals for quieter, smoother operation.
Although our standard slats are solid, as an alternative at no extra cost, we can supply slats where the tops are vented creating additional light and vision. These are 42mm high and also double skin foam filled aluminium for added insulation and sound deadening.
