Our compact roller garage doors have been developed for garages where there is limited space above the opening. A wide range of sizes can be accommodated up to 3000mm wide and up to 2150mm in height. Each is supplied with two key fob transmitters, a single channel receiver with built-in courtesy light and a bottom slat sensor.
A secure stainless steel locking mechanism automatically locks the garage door providing greater strength than less robust company doors using plastic locking arms. The door operation is powered by a 240V Somfy tubular drive motor. In the event of power loss an internal manual override facility is supplied complete with a detachable winding handle.

Blending the convenience of powered operation with smooth, vertical opening you can safely park inches from the door. Ideal for larger vehicles such as 4x4s and people carriers. It does not need the external space for opening that traditional up and over doors require.
The Compact utilises an aluminium slat insulated with a CFC free foam core, for thermal insulation and noise reduction, which is narrower than those supplied with normal doors. This allows a tighter, smaller coil which needs just 205mm (8") of headroom. The rail guides are also smaller at 60mm so they can be fitted into a smaller space. The curtain is held in place by a high performance webbing that is unaffected by extremes of weather.
Although slimmer than standard doors these Compact roller shutter garage doors offer excellent security against intruders. Combining a sturdy locking system, rolling code remote control technology and tough extruded aluminium which has been tested to wind resistance equivalent to 59mph (Force 10 Storm).
Automatic anti-lift locking, a strong extruded top slat and remote units featuring rolling-code technology ensure effective attack resistance by would be intruders. Each door is made to measure to your individual requirements ensuring a seemless fit. The Compact is a relatively easy diy electric garage door or we can install for you. Measure the Overall Guide Width (includes guide rails) and Guide Height for pricing. We recommend 50mm of bottom slat should hang down into the guide rails when the door is fully raised. Below this is the drive through height for your vehicle.
